Well, we finally took the plunge. Certainly no easy feat, but Philip, Jules and I managed to pack up our lives in Brooklyn, NY and start anew in my birthplace, Taipei, Taiwan for one year.
Why would we do something so crazy, you ask? Well, we knew that the window of opportunity to live abroad while Jules still thinks we’re cool is closing fast, so we had to act quickly. Also, what better way to learn about another culture and improve our Chinese than being immersed in it 24/7 for a year!
